Warranty Coverage

Roof Top Tents

5-Year Limited Warranty

Our roof top tents are covered by a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use.

Coverage includes:

  • Tent shell defects
  • Structural frame defects
  • Manufacturing faults in hinges and mounting hardware
  • Defects in zippers, stitching, and fabric workmanship
  • Gas strut manufacturing failures

Awnings & Awning Rooms

5-Year Limited Warranty

Coverage includes:

  • Frame and arm manufacturing defects
  • Hardware failures
  • Fabric defects caused by manufacturing faults

Accessories & Camping Equipment

1-Year Limited Warranty

Coverage includes:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faulty materials
  • Defective workmanship

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Improper installation or mounting
  • Damage caused by extreme weather conditions
  • Wind damage to awnings
  • Water ingress resulting from incorrect setup or use
  • UV fading and natural weathering
  • Damage resulting from overloading or improper vehicle fitment
  • Modifications or repairs performed by unauthorised persons
  • Commercial, rental, or hire use unless otherwise agreed

Warranty Claim Process

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please contact our support team with the following information:

  1. Proof of purchase
  2. Product model
  3. Description of the issue
  4. Photographs or videos showing the defect

Our team will assess your claim and respond as quickly as possible.

Resolution Options

If a warranty claim is approved, Urban Caveman may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace defective components
  • Replace the product with the same or equivalent model
  • Provide store credit where appropriate

Important Notes

  • Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
  • Replacement products or repaired components do not extend the original warranty period.
  • Warranty coverage is valid within the United Kingdom unless otherwise stated.
